The report presents the key findings from phase one of the Care-Experienced Graduates' Decision-Making, Choices and Destinations project. It also presents a series of recommendations for policy and practice which intend to better support care-experienced graduates' transitions out of higher education and into employment and/or further study.

How does a background of care affect graduate transitions?: A literature review (2022)

The literature review provides an overview of current research knowledge on care-experienced graduates' destinations, transitions to professional employment, and postgraduate study. It offers an in-depth exploration of the potential challenges faced by care-experienced graduates when accessing professional employment, and outlines possible explanations for their patterns of postgraduate progression.
