Degrees of Support: How Care-Experienced Graduates Navigate the Transition Beyond University (2025)
This comic follows care-experienced graduates as they navigate the transition out of higher education and into their graduate lives. Using participant quotes from the Care-Experienced Graduates Project (2021-2024), it reveals the unique challenges higher education graduates with a background of care face. Throughout, it contrasts the realities of making this transition with and without appropriate support.
This comic was produced thanks to the Care in Comics Project (The University of Sheffield).
The Care-Experienced Graduates' Decision-Making, Choices and Destinations Project: Phase Three Report (2024)
The report presents the key findings from the third and final phase of the Care-Experienced Graduates Project, when participants were 12 months post-graduation. It also presents a series of recommendations for local authorities, higher education institutions, employers, and policymakers which aim to provide safe, stable, and fulfilling transitions into graduate life for care-experienced people.

'From Us to Us' is a booklet which contains advice from care-experienced graduates to care-experienced people who are approaching graduation, or have recently graduated themselves. The advice included throughout has been collected as part of the Care-Experienced Graduates Project (2021-2024).

This comic strip uses data from phase two of the Care-Experienced Graduates Project to illustrate the powerful difference a graduate bursary can make to the first six months of graduate life for care-experienced graduates.
